Driver - Carel Godin de Beaufort

He drove several F1 races as a privateer before creating his own team, called "Ecurie Maarsbergen" for which Ben PON also drove. 

As almost did, fellow Dutchman Rob Slotenmaker in 1962. He would drive during the Dutch GP at Zandvoort, but he was replaced by another driver. 

"Careltje" mainly drove in Porsche's, during F1, LeMans and sportcar events. In F1 races the only exceptions are French GP in 1959, where he drove a Maserati 250F and several F1 races in 1960 where he was driving a Cooper-Climax T51.
